Activating the WP Paintbrush theme
- Login into WordPress admin panel
- Click on the Themes link (under Appearance)
- Click on “WP Paintbrush”
- Cick on “Activate WP Paintbrush”
Redesigning your site
WP Paintbrush is designed for maximum customisability for minimum hassle. Make sure you are logged in, then go to the front page of your website where you will see an editing window for redesigning your website.
Initial design selection and layout editor
You can select an initial design under the “Design” tab, and alter the basic structure and outline of your site via the layout editor as seen below.

Total design control
The WP Paintbrush editing panel gives you complete control over your theme via simple to use tools like the colour picker shown below. You can see the changes you make live on your site as you make them.

The various other tabs allow you to modify a plethora of different features on your site. If there is anything missing which you would like modify, please let us know. To add new images to your design, visit the “Publish” tab, and use the image upload tool.
Publishing your design
Once you have created the design you would like, click the “Publish” button, found under the “Publish” tab and your site visitors will see the new design in action.
Turning off the editing panel
You can turn the editor on and off via the WordPress admin bar.
